Can anyone respond to your blogs? How does this work? Do I need a website? Is yours done on http://www.freewebs.com?
I am so sorry for all the questions, but I got a hug from you on DS (Daily Strength) earlier today. You provided a link for an ASL Dictionary and your website address.
Thanks,
Jonathan David Marshall, a/k/a sierracompany (DS)
P.s. how does one get a sign name?

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for stopping by. I don’t mind the questions. This is a free WordPress blog - anyone can sign up for one, no Website needed, and certainly, anyone can respond to a posting.
Sign names are generally given to a person BY A DEAF person who uses sign language as his/her primary language.
Hope you find the dictionary useful!
Cindy

Thanks…now I have another Q: would you be willing to give me a sign name? If you do,can I change it on my blog?

I am not very fluent in sign language, so I’m so sorry, but I can’t give you a sign name. It’s also best if the Deaf person knows you, because he/she will consider one of your characteristics or physical attributes when giving you a sign name.

I really enjoyed reading your vignettes - you have a great sense of humor! I am a 30+ year member of the Parents Section of AG Bell. My three grown children are all deaf or hard of hearing. My youngest shared your Blog with me - she is also a member of the DHH section. Keep writing!
